We have been running a diagnostic service for individuals resident in Edinburgh since 2019 however we cannot accept self-referrals or GP referrals to this service. If you would like to pursue an autism assessment then you must ask your GP to refer you to the NHS mental health team (or CAMHS for under 18’s). We are able to accept referrals from professionals within the community mental health team (including psychiatrists, psychologists and CPNs).
