Compassionate healthcare advocacy
Healthcare can be confusing, overwhelming, and exhausting—especially when you’re facing a new diagnosis, coordinating care for a loved one, managing a chronic condition, or trying to understand insurance and treatment options.
At PlainPath Advocates, we provide independent, private-pay patient advocacy and care coordination to help individuals and families navigate the healthcare system with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Because we work solely for you—not insurance companies, hospitals, or healthcare systems—our guidance is always objective and focused on your best interests.
Whether you need help understanding a diagnosis, coordinating appointments, communicating with providers, reviewing medical bills, or making informed healthcare decisions, we’re here to simplify the process and ensure you never have to face it alone.
You don’t have to navigate healthcare alone. We’ll walk beside you—every step of the way.

1 Review on “PlainPath Advocates”
For almost two years, I was completely unable to access medical care, not because I didn’t need it, but because I’m immunocompromised and local medical facilities refused to mask when interacting with me. With COVID and other infectious diseases circulating at high levels, walking into a clinic or hospital put me at serious risk. I tried a couple of different advocates before finding Tamara at Plain Path Advocates. She was different from the start.
Tamara worked directly with the hospital system to help them understand their obligations under federal and state disability law to reasonably accommodate me. She succeeded where others couldn’t, and thanks to her, I’m finally back in care. Without her help, I truly believe I would not have been able to access healthcare in the past two years, and I wouldn’t have the better quality of life I have today.
Beyond getting me back into care, Tamara has helped me navigate billing issues, coordinated scheduling, assisted with medical evaluations involving state agencies, and took the time to educate me on how the healthcare industry works. She didn’t just solve one problem, she equipped me for the road ahead.
What truly sets Tamara apart is how she meets people where they are. I have multiple disabilities including neurodivergent differences, and she genuinely understands how to bridge the gap between typical communication and my style. If I need written communication, that’s okay. Voice or video, that’s okay too. She’s incredibly accommodating and supportive no matter what, and she never makes me feel frustrated or difficult when things don’t go smoothly. That kind of patience is rare.
Tamara fought for me when I didn’t have the energy to fight for myself, treating me with dignity, respect, and real understanding. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you need someone who truly listens and accommodates all disabilities, Tamara is the person you want. Her future clients are incredibly fortunate to have her.
